Thoughts About Opinions

Just really want to say this: To all my gay friends and friends that fight for gay rights, you say Chick-Fil-A is intolerant and bias but intolerances in this case is a two way street. You don't tolerant those who don't agree with you, personally I really don't care about anyone's opinion on any subject matter, it’s their opinion and they have the right to have one just as you have the right to have one that opposes theirs . If that’s their belief in marriage then it is what it is, honestly I hold the same opinion so if it’s that easy to lose support then I guess you don’t support me for my opinions as well.  I just want to be honest here, it seems the fight for gay rights is getting out hand because it infringes on others by trying to force them change their standpoint by calling them intolerant for feeling the way they feel. Sure they force people to stop discriminating against minorities but look at the way they went about it.  Black people were proud to be black and showed it but didn’t do it to piss off people and boycotted only to prove a point; YOU NEED US to survive, said to the Alabama Bus Line. Personally homosexuality is not something I celebrate nor happy to witness but I don’t get mad when it happens because it has nothing to do with me and it’s not brought to my door step, if I decided to organize a straight pride parade for my belief I would be considered a homophob, now is that truth? Or are gay people heterophobs?  And please stop comparing it to the civil rights movements because you can sit at the lunch counter, drink from any water fountain, swim in any swimming pool, walk through the front door, sit in the front of the bus, attend any school (depends on your grades), and weren’t deliberately murder for hundreds of years.   It seems gay rights is just the popular flavor of the month and if you keep treating it that way then, just like any other popular flavor, it will soon fade away.  If you didn’t try to shove it down people throats they wouldn’t throw up but digest it…
